Last night I dreamed about cake for breakfast, so when I woke up I made Cake in a Mug! I'd had this recipe laying about and I'd even shared it with some friends but I hadn't tried it myself until now. It came out beautifully! This recipe is great for (a)lazy people in college with no oven, small space, and few ingredients, (b)lazy people in general, (c) homeless people who have only a few minutes after breaking in to make cake before the cops arrive.

You will need:
* one large coffee mug
* 4 tablespoons flour - make sure you measure it right
* 4 tablespoons sugar
* 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
* 2 tablespoons whisked egg
- 1 egg is too much, 1 white too eggy, 1 yolk too dense, but 2 tblsp is just right!
* 3 tablespoons milk
* 3 tablespoons oil
* 3 tablespoons chocolate chips
* splash ov vanilla or other flavoring - try cinnamon

(The chocolate chips really make this, if you don't have any try a broken up chocolate bar. Something, anything! Improvise!)

Directions:
Mix together dry ingredients.
Put in the egg and combine well.
Now the milk and oil.
Finally, the chocolate chips and vanilla.

Microwave for 3 minutes.

Very hot! Turn it over onto a plate or eat it right out of the mug. And there you have it, delicious chocolate cake in a mug.

I added a tablespoon vanilla syrup and some cherries and it turned out great. Next time I'll add baking powder and mix the ingredients seperately in a bowl, so I can grease the coffee mug (might be better if you want to turn it over onto a plate).
